देओला दादा पिलानिया

एक दिन देओला दादा अपने समधी छज्जू राम से मिलने उनके गाँव गए थे। मिलकर जब वे वापस अपने गाँव लौट रहे थे, तभी रास्ते में उन्होंने देखा कि कुछ कसाइयों ने एक महिला गुजरी लीलावती की गायों को जबरन ले जा रहे हैं। देओला दादा से यह अन्याय देखा नहीं गया। उन्होंने बिना किसी भय के कसाइयों का विरोध किया और लीलावती की गायों को छुड़ाने के लिए उनसे युद्ध किया। संघर्ष के दौरान देओला दादा ने गायों की रक्षा करते हुए अद्भुत वीरता और साहस का परिचय दिया। गायों को बचाते-बचाते देओला दादा वीरगति को प्राप्त हो गए। उनके ईस बलिदान के करुणा वह एक गौ-रक्षा का अमर प्रतीक बन गए है, जिसे आज भी लोग श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ याद करते हैं।
